Good spot to watch meteor shower

I want to go out and see the meteor shower next week (predicted peak is early hrs of the 13th). Bruce Peninsula etc would obviously be the best, but I still need to work the next day and can’t travel that far. Is there any relatively good spot <= 1.5 hrs from Guelph?
