Which D1 College Team’s logo is used the most by High Schools? I’m on a mission to find out. Part 7: Connecticut
Check out my NFL series if you haven’t yet

|---|---|---|
| Abbott Tech | Miami and Clemson | Canes in Blue? Ew |
| Ansonia | Alabama | |
| Bacon | Kentucky | |
| Bethel | K-State | |
| Bolton | Gonzaga | |

| Fairfield Warde | SMU and Western Michigan | |
| Griswold | Georgia and Grambling | |
| Hartford | Temple | It bothers me à bit whenever I see a big city like Hartford end up here. Like the small towns in the middle of booty clappin nowhere have an excuse that they probably don’t have enough resources. But CMON! YOU’RE THE CAPITAL OF THE STATE, THE SCHOOL IS 388 YEARS OLD, THE SECOND OLDEST IN THE COUNTRY YOU’RE OLDER THAN in a blue state that housed an NHL Team at one point and not too far away from one of the toughest colleges to get into in Yale and you’re telling me that no one in that district can cook up something better than an 1880s Baseball logo and a recolored Temple logo? |
| Immaculate | Texas Tech | |
| Malon | Michigan State | |
| Masuk | K-State | |
| Montville | Michigan | |
| Morgan | UCONN | Though it has since changed |
| Newington | Nebraska | |
| Nonnewaug | FSU | |
| Notre Dame | North Dakota and WHO DID YOU THINK? | |
| O’Brien | Ohio State | Put it in the right colors and it’s a realistic depiction of what Wolverine fans want actual Condors to do to any buckeye merchandise |
| Old Saybrook | CSU | |
| Oxford | Oregon | |
| Plainville | Purdue | |
| Pomperaug | UCF | |
| Ridgefield | Clemson | |
| Rockville | CSU and Rhode Island | |
| Rocky Hill | Clemson | |
| Seymour | Clemson | |
| Shelton | Syracuse | |
| Spartanburg Christian | Rutgers | |
| Stratford | Arizona State and Michigan State | |
| Southington | Rutgers | |
| Suffield | Syracuse | |
| Tolland | Morehead State | |
| Torrington | Texas Tech | |
| Wheeler | LMU | |
| Windsor | Wisconsin and FSU | |
| Wooster | Wisconsin |
Alright six things:
- I realized that Rhode Island and Colorado State have identical helmets. Iirc all but two of the CSU tallies were the helmet. All helmet horns that meet the criteria going forward will count for both. I apologize to any Rhode Island Alum
- Same issue with North Dakota and Notre Dame respectively. All but 1 of the Notre Dame Tallies are knockoff ND monograms. Glad I'm catching all this Early
- BEFORE I GET THE WHY GEORGIA AND GRAMBLING ARE DIFFERENT NUMBERS COMMENT:
If it’s Georgia colors, like straight up the Georgia logo with no changes, it just counts for Georgia,
If it’s Grambling Colors, same thing applies but for Grambling
If it’s one of Georgia’s Bulldog logos, that’s purely Georgia
If the colors don’t match either Grambling or Georgia, and it is the G, it’s both
-
I also apologize to Towson fans, I forgot to add y’all to the count before. The previous posts have been fixed. This is a tough job , with 100+ colleges and logos to account for instead of 35. I hope y’all understand
-
One more apology, this one to Morehead State fans. Once again, having well over a hundred colleges to account for means that familiar looking logos are tossed to the wayside. I was looking around and managed to find 2 more logos in California, but I know there’s more out there, so i‘d greatly appreciate it if some of you lovely Redditors can look in the previous states to see if this logo, this logo or this logo were knocked off. Please and thank you.

Last Apology I hope, I forgot to add to New Mexico’s tally. That should be fixed as well.

So you now see the amount of error that can happen when you undertake a project of this magnitude. So once again. IF I MISSED ANYTHING, IF I’M BEING TO LOOSE OR HARSH WITH THE JUDGEMENTS PLEASE LET ME KNOW! This is an incredibly tough project and I need as many hands as I possibly can. Also be on Morehead State Watch for all the other states. I have a feeling there’s more than three.
