Looking for a hilarious Crossdressing novel

Basically the title - would also prefer an ancient setting.
Just looking for an entertaining read I can enjoy with my partner. I would really prefer something absurd/hilarious with a bickering couple. 🙂
My partner isn’t really into Danmei but it’s such a fun thing to read together. He actually enjoyed Peerless.
