Growing funds as a beginner
Hi! I am a fresh grad and I am currently resting a bit before reviewing for my licensure exam. I want to know what specific things I can do to grow my savings. Currently, all my savings are in a time deposit (3 months left and deposited 3 months ago). I want to know what I can actively and passively do to grow my funds.
Some limitations:
-
I am not allowed to work yet as my parents want me to study and pass my board exams first before engaging on salary paying jobs.
-
I am given the flexibility of handling my own savings and let them grow through methods such as time deposits and more active ways like trading or investments.
-
I cannot commit my full time to this but I am willing to give some time and effort to learn about more active ways like daytrading.
PS. Excuse my terminolgies if I use them in the wrong context as I am fairly new to this.
I'm open to all suggestions. I would particularly like to know more about stocks, investments, and daytrading. I have only mobilized my money from my saving account to a time deposit as I have learned that it's a low risk method of growing my money but as impulesive as it may sound, it really is slow and the growth is minimal (and yes, I was aware of this when I put it in a time dep).
Any beginner advice on the mentioned topics are appreciated.
Thank you very much!
