Approved!! I-751 with Divorce Waiver

Hi everyone! Time for me to have the good news after years of waiting! My removal of conditions i-751 was approved on Friday. I had married my ex-husband in 2021, received my conditional green card in January 2022, and divorced in January 2025. I made a lot of mistakes along the way, and I noticed that there aren't a lot of divorce waiver cases posted here, so here is my timeline:

November 2023: Submitted first i-751 with my ex-husband as a jointly filed petition
January 2025: Divorce finalized
April 2025: Uploaded divorce decree and letter requesting conversion of petition to divorce waiver
February 2026: Submitted second i-751 filing with divorce waiver (was told in my interview that I didn't need to do this 🤦🏼‍♀️)
April 2026: Biometrics scheduled
June 2026: Interview scheduled
August 2026: Case Approved
If anyone has questions about the process post-divorce, I'm happy to answer to the best of my knowledge. I definitely didn't do it the proper way, but I learned a lot along the way. Good luck to everyone else waiting!
