instructor and manoeuvres

Ive been learning to drive now for a year plus, and i will admit that I am not the quickest or best driver out there but i do put the effort in and try.

I have my test in two days and I booked a two hour driving lesson where I was hoping to really practice the manoeuvres (as on my regular driving lessons he will randomly choose a manoeuvre, let me try it around two times and if i fail or do something wrong he will just tell me to drive on and sit and shout at me, whilst telling me it’s useless and how hopeless i am.)

It’s frustrating because then i dont get to practice that manoeuvre for another couple of weeks and I feel unsure and scared of even slightly making a wrong move, which then in turn causes me to mess up even more.

During this two hour lesson he did the same thing and I spent majority of it just driving to different places whilst getting shouted at and got no practice in.

Now my confidence is just completely destroyed and I feel as if i’m going to break down mid test if I mess up, because I have no confidence in doing any manoeuvre now. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I come back from lessons feeling like shit, crying and feel as if i have made no improvements or progress. Does anyone have a similar experience or advice on what to do? I dont want to end up quitting after all this time.
