Original post body:

Been using Claude Code every day for months on real client work. Max plan. Today it burned most of my afternoon and I finally hit the wall on it.

It does not listen. You tell it something, it says yes, then it does the thing it already decided to do. You correct it, it apologizes, fixes exactly the one line you pointed at, and keeps the whole broken assumption underneath. Then you correct it again. And again. At some point you realize you're not working with it, you're managing it, and managing it takes longer than just doing the work yourself.

It guesses when it has actual data sitting right there. It sounds completely confident while being wrong. And it will happily hand you something to send to a paying client that just isn't true, so now you're proofreading every single line, which kills the entire reason you're using it.

This thing used to feel like a senior dev. Now it feels like an intern who nods a lot.

And Anthropic is shitting on us. We pay top dollar, we build our entire workflow around this, and the quality quietly degrades while the marketing gets louder every month. No changelog, no acknowledgment, no nothing. Just pay more and enjoy.

tl;dr it doesn't listen and you can't trust its output. Check literally everything.
