Applying multiple roles in same co

I have a somewhat hybrid skillset and am hoping to pivot into analytics.

There are a few companies i am keen to join cos of factors like size, market leader, reputation etc. Would it look bad on me if I apply for multiple roles there within a short period? (Assume the roles are reasonably relevant, I’m not just whacking randomly)

I am also deciding between settling for a role that fits me well now and try to move internally later, OR wait for future job openings that are more aligned with my career goals. I am concerned that an internal move could take 2–3 years min and delay me further from attaining my career aspirations.

Would love to hear from recruiters/hiring managers on this too
