Hobbyist with a good budget looking to do more shoots.
So I been off and on shooting for about 8 years now and have gone through many different cycles of GAS. I'm hoping this is the last one for me. So don't mind to buy once and cry once.
• Budget: $4k USD
• Country: US (LA area)
• Condition: Used is fine (MPB preferred)
• Type of Camera: Mirroless
• Intended use: photography
• If photography; what style: model, couples, landscape, and weddings
• If video what style: vlogs
• What features do you absolutely need: dual card slots, flip out screen, comfort
• Portability: I'm a big guy so this isn't much of a problem
• Cameras you're considering: Canon EOS R3, Nikon Z8/9
• Cameras you already have: my camera progression has been: EOSR (Was nice but lacked features), Fuji XT-3 (didn't like size), Nikon Z5 (so far favorite but didn't like screen and some features), Sony A7 III - Current (love autofocus but screen and size are a huge issue for me)
• Notes: i would probably be doing a full system transfer from Sony to something else. Nikon seems to be the closest match for me. My favorite lens is my 85/1.4 paired with a 28-70 Tamron lens. The budget is for a new system but I don't mind splurging on a body now and getting some lenses later.
