Please Help With Extra Precautions/Advice

Staying at an Airbnb last week, first night found several bedbugs/had bites in the morning. We immediately washed/dried clothes, thoroughly scoured all bags, and went to a hotel. Left bags in super hot car for several hours. Before traveling home, packed everything in plastic. Got home, put bags and traveling clothes in a large trash bag, never got into the apartment. Thoroughly steamed bags. Clothes washed and high heat dried again. Anything else I should do?

Also--the first bites appeared the morning after staying in the infested bed. Since then, several more patches have appeared. No blood, no bugs, no signs that we brought anything with us along the way. I see from searching that bites from one day can appear over a period of several days. Anyone have experience with this?

Finally, any good treatments for swelling? Haven't been itching anything.

First and hopefully last experience w bedbugs. Absolute nightmare.
