Can I get a job in Angola after graduating in 2027 with this background? And what salary should I expect?
Hi everyone, I’m from India and currently studying BBA. My major is Digital Marketing, with Supply Chain & Warehouse Management as my minor. I should graduate around 2027, so I have roughly 10–11 months left to prepare.
Alongside my degree, I’m trying to build practical skills in SAP ERP, Odoo and other ERP systems, mainly related to supply chain, inventory, warehouse operations and business processes. I also have some experience with WhatsApp automation.
I also have hands-on experience in my family’s hardware and paint business. We manage around 1,000 SKUs across two warehouses, and I’m involved in inventory and warehouse management. I helped implement a barcode system for inventory, organized products according to their movement, and kept fast-moving products closer to the warehouse/dispatch area to improve efficiency.
My current technical level is not advanced. I have basic Excel, basic cloud knowledge and basic English, and I’m currently working on improving my ERP, supply-chain and business-process knowledge.
After graduation, I’m interested in moving to Angola and finding a job, preferably in areas such as:
•Supply Chain
•Warehouse / Inventory Management
•Procurement
•Logistics
•ERP/Odoo/SAP support
•Business Operation
I’m not looking to start a business immediately. My plan is to first work in Angola, gain local experience, learn Portuguese and understand how the market works.
So I wanted to ask people who live or work in Angola:
-
With this background and a BBA degree, would it be realistic for me to get a job in Angola as an Indian/foreign worker?
-
What job roles should I realistically target as a fresh graduate?
-
What salary range could I expect for these types of positions?
-
Roughly how much would a single person need per month for rent, food, transportation, internet and other basic expenses, especially in Luanda?
-
What skills should I focus on during these next 10–11 months to significantly improve my chances of getting hired?
I’d especially appreciate answers from people who have actually worked in Angola or know the Angolan job market. I’m trying to understand whether this is a realistic career path before making the move.
