What the fairy is going on??

Hi guys, I have played Calamity some years ago and have now started playing Terraria again.
I wanted to look into calamity again with some friends, looking forward to all the new content that was added.

But today I saw a few videos of you most likely know what it was about.
Then in the video I found that there were already similar scandals in the past.

First of all, I hope that all the devs and artists find a new way of creating a wonderful game experience.

second, why do these certain things keep happening with this mod? (this is not a real question, but more of a dissappointed expression)

Also while we at it... What are currently the best mods that come close to calamity when it comes to content expansion? (especially post-moonlord)
