Vibe-coded my first real SaaS from a pain I had as a freelancer for years
I freelanced for several years. Every project same mess.
Client wants “the usual stack.” I open 47 browser tabs, dig through old invoices, Slack, Notion, a half-dead spreadsheet titled tools_FINAL_v3.xlsx. Then I try to remember which tools they actually use, what each costs, and how that looks when I invoice them.
I always thought: someone should build a clean place for this.
Then AI coding got good enough that “someone” could be me.
So I vibe-coded Toolhub.
It’s basically:
- Your software tools in one place (prices included)
- Catalogs = reusable stack presets (“web project starter”, “branding package”, whatever)
- Customers get their own tool selection + cost view
- PDF invoices from those selections when you need to look professional instead of sending a screenshot of Excel
Stack for the curious: Next.js, tRPC, Prisma, Clerk, Stripe. Classic T3-ish SaaS, shipped end-to-end with a lot of AI pair-programming and a lot of “why is this type error real at 2am.”
Free Starter plan if you want to poke around — no card. Enough for solo freelancers to get their stack out of their head.

If you’re also shipping side projects from your own scars — would love roast / feedback. Especially on the catalogs → customers → invoice flow. That was the part I needed most when I was freelancing.
