CPU and GPU are fine. No thermal or power throttling. No problem in the other games, apps, tests.
Main issue:
There are very few locations in the game where the GPU load reaches 90%+ and I get a stable fps of 120+ (DLAA or native) . In most cases, GPU load is 40-60% and frame rate is 60-85. Graphics settings have no effect on the situation. Zero or very low IO outside of loading screens. It's unlikely that the problem is with the disk. Some time ago I switched from 13600kf to 14900kf and got the expected increase of about 25%.
My guess is that the problem is still OS-dependent. While the 14900kf isn't a top CPU, it's still decent. If the game had such problems with the CPU on Windows, then there would have been an expected wave of indignation from owners of mid-range systems. Unfortunately, I don't have Windows or a fourth NVMe slot to install it and test this directly.
Question:
Perhaps someone has encountered a similar problem in this or another game and it can be solved by specifying specific Proton directives?
