Do I need to take multivariable calculus if I am starting off in linear algebra?

I want to major in applied math, so I was planning on taking Math 2220 (Linear Algebra with Applications). I was worried about taking this course becauswe it only counts for credit in the applied math major, but none of the other math majors. I have also been thiniking about majoring in da ta science, but the degree requires multivariable calculus. Would I not be able to complete the major since I am choosing to skip multivariable calcuolus (I already did it in high school)? Thanks!
