Peter Alexander's New Show "State of Play" Makes Its Debut

Just watched some of Peter's first show and he sounded (and looked) wonderful. He seemed confident, he asked good questions of his guests, and he did the kind of professional job you'd expect from someone with his years of experience. I wasn't fond of his set, but that will be a work in progress. Meanwhile, I know some folks here are not fans of his. I am not writing this as a fan, but rather, as a media critic. This is a good "get" for MS-NOW. Peter brings years of news experience, and he knows lots of news-makers. If MS-NOW wants to be taken seriously as a news source, it needs some well-known news reporters. As he said today, this is his first time doing a solo news show (he was a White House correspondent for NBC and co-host of The Weekend Today Show). He seemed very pleased to be doing it. Welcome to the weekday line-up, Peter!
