Help: Making an apartment feel adequately like “Me”
I’m finally moving away from the people that have been hurting me in (hopefully) <1 year, yayyyy
Most of the apartments I’ve been looking at are pre furnished which is good, but the problem is that I tend to prefer a sort of… cozy but regal alt aesthetic when it comes to interiors (lots of black, blood red, deep purple, and forest green), but most of these are “Millennial coffee shop” coded with whites and grays and harsh lighting
I have no idea how strict they’re gonna be (I know the walls will have to stay whatever beige/gray/white color they are) as I have never lived in an apartment before (to be truthful I’ve basically never moved houses before, at least not primary houses so I don’t know a lot of what to expect)
What are some things that should universally be considered “Ok” that I can do to feel more at home in my apartment?
