My friend got an internship because of AI and I honestly don't know how to feel about it π
A few months ago he was struggling to build a project for his college
He started using AI to help with the code, fix bugs and basically guide him through the whole thing
He ended up making something that actually looked pretty impressive and somehow landed an internship with it
The funny part is that he told me he probably couldn't have built the whole thing without AI
And now I'm wondering
Is this actually what the future of tech jobs is going to look like
Do companies care that you can build something yourself anymore or will knowing how to use AI extremely well become the skill itself
Because if that's the case, maybe we're not competing with AI
We're competing with people who know how to use AI better than us π
What do you guys think
