Hey r/Dnd! My tiny little renfaire gaming booth collects folklore, cryptids and legends from wherever we travel to and makes them into 5e stat blocks with original NEVER AI art from local artists. We're trying to do all 50 states, but we're ... well it's been tough to get the word out, so I asked the mods if I could make a post about it here. It'll be a 300-500 page compendium of monsters and such based on regional legends and stories.

Some of them are comedic, like the "Texas Ranger" archetype for ranger that's full of chuck norris jokes or CR13 Aberration "Florida Man." Others are serious villains based on real people, like the Swamp "Witch" Julia Brown or the ghost of pirate Captain Kidd in NJ. Still others are cryptids, like the Squonk, or the Skunk Ape, or the Rougarou. People seem to really love them when they see our books in person.

As a side note, I've always loved crowdfunding, though it seems the game has changed a bit... people seem tired of being asked to fund things, which I get, I just... I'd much rather go to 3,000 people for $5 each instead of a bank, it just... seems like some solidarity instead of helping bankers get their second yacht or whatever.

Anyway I hope r/dnd is interested, this is kind of our last attempt at seeing if there's any demand for this thing before pulling the plug.
