Cute server help!

Hey, so I am a guy and there is a local restaurant I frequent and am a regular at. There's a female server there that I think is cute but never bothered to interact with her because I figured she didn't want to be bothered at work. She has been my server like once or twice in the past year.

Anyway, the last time I went for dinner I came with friends and I asked for her name after she took our order and she said "my name is xxx, I remember you from a while back" and smiled at me. After dinner she tried to scan my card and the reader wasn't working so she told me to meet her up front to pay.

As I am paying, I tell her I really appreciated that she remembered me and she showed my friends a good time, and introduced myself. She put her hand out palm down like a princess and said "it's nice to officially meet you, (my name)." I held her hand for a bit and said it was nice to officially meet her too but couldn't bring myself to ask for her number and went home.

I decided to come 2 days later for some bubble tea and saw she was working... she was carrying food to someone and upon seeing me she immediately waved and smiled. I felt pretty confident and, remembering that she recommended a spicy dish and that it was her favorite, went to my car and got a bottle of some of my homemade hot sauce (yes i just keep some in a cooler in my car at all times bc friends always want to buy it), handed to her saying that I made it and thought she would like it since I remembered spicy is her favorite. I also handed her a piece of paper with my number and said she could hit me up if she wanted more.

Anyway my question is, is she showing interest or just doing her job? Did I mess up? I have been off the market for like a decade now and I am so rusty.
