Use another phone number or email address to contact xxx

I tried facetiming today, and it simply doesn't work. The only thing that I get when I try is: Use another phone number or email address to contact xxx (Phone number goes here) in the contact card is not available for facetime. Things I've tried: Restarting iPhone Turning FaceTime off and on again Turning Facetime off, rebooting iPhone, turn FaceTime on again (saw it in a guide) Verified that the contact is correct and uses iMessage/FaceTime (iMessage works fine though) Signed out then back in to my apple ID Device: iPhone SE 2016 (iOS 15.8.8) PS: iMessage works fine which is confusing
