AITA for staying with my boyfriend even though I don't think I like him anymore?

(Oringal post I made)

UPDATE:

I broke up with him a few days after my original post.

We initially agreed that I could continue living there until the end of the month because I wasn’t able to move out immediately.

That lasted about a week.

The first weekend after the breakup, I went out with my friends and he called me home because he was having a “panic attack.”

Then, the following weekend, he barged into my room at around 12:30 in the morning accusing me of having another man in there. He also suddenly announced that, despite our agreement that I could stay until the end of the month, he was kicking me out that Friday.

So I left for the rest of the night.

That Monday, I took the day off and removed everything I owned from his apartment.

While I was moving, he showed up with his brother-in-law, who was apparently there to “be protection for you,” meaning me.

He then claimed he had experienced some kind of blackout the night before.

Which was interesting, considering he was also perfectly capable of telling everyone exactly what had happened during said blackout.

Anyway, I moved in with my grandma.

For the last two months, he’s also been telling people that I cheated on him.

His evidence?

A BDSM test I took online.

Because apparently an internet kink quiz is now legally admissible proof of infidelity. 🤣

Then my family lost our home in a house fire.

The next morning, he decided that was the perfect time to message me about getting his name off my car.

Mind you, I had been asking him for weeks before this to help me get his name removed.

So I handled the entire thing myself in one day—refinancing the car and getting his name removed from it.

He was extremely difficult throughout the entire process, but it’s done.

Our online friend group eventually dropped him too, after he chose to remain friends with someone who had basically been acting like a predator.

I’m sure he somehow blames me for that as well.

And, in possibly the strangest development of this entire saga, he apparently tried paying members of our online friend group to play games with me.

So... yeah.

Breaking up was definitely the correct decision.

Oh, and hi Devon and Karla!

Since the two of you apparently feel the need to send my Reddit posts to everyone who knows us personally, I figured I might as well say hello to you directly. 👋
