Tingling, pain in hip to calf, involuntary flinch

Every few days, I’ll get pain primarily in my right calf. Sometimes there’s tingling and sometimes the sensations/pain radiate from my right hip to my calf. Then, it seems when I’m waking up or falling asleep, those sensations build up and I’ll develop a flinch in my (primarily right) foot that occurs a few times a minute. Seems like lots of muscle/nerve activity like an electrical storm for a while. This stuff doesn’t happen every day. It’s usually but not always on the right side. If I wake up or walk around, it typically abates. I’ve had it about 10 years. For perspective, I have small fiber neurology and had neurological testing a few years ago that showed nothing significant. The foot flex/flinch is the most vexing and searching the webMDs and other forums, can’t find much about it. Certainly I’m not the only one with these symptoms.
