My first bad runs
I've been doing the new to running plan for ten weeks and up until week 9 it was so smooth and I felt like I was progressing really consistently.
Then on Wednesday I really struggled with a 3.5km continuous run, everything felt sore and clunky and tired and my legs just hurt the whole way and I had to take two small ten second walking breaks.
Then yesterday was DREADFUL. Was supposed to be a 4.25 km walk-run split into 2km run, 1 minute walk, 250m run, 30 sec walk, 2km run.
I probably ate a bit too close to the run and was tired after a busy weekend with friends and family visiting and felt hideously nauseous after about 1k to the point where I had to stop running and my last 2km I just walked home fuming feeling gross.
I feel like it's really made me nervous for my next run though and it's knocked my confidence.
I am due to do a 5k for the first time in two weeks and failing a 4.25km run has made me feel like it's not achievable.
Any tips for my next run or Pozzy vibes?
