I built a tool that shows your own car in any paint or wrap colour before you pay for it

Full disclosure, I built this, it's a solo project called Specced (https://specced.app).

Backstory: I almost paid €3,400 to wrap my car in a colour I'd only ever seen on someone else's. The wrap shop's colour samples are the size of a postcard. Your car isn't. A colour that looks great on a small square can look completely different across a whole bonnet in your driveway light.

So I built the thing I wanted. You upload a photo of your actual car, pick a colour and finish (gloss, satin, matte, chrome, or a wrap film like 3M 2080 / Inozetek), and it renders your car in that spec. Not a stock model, your own picture. There's a sample M4 you can play with first if you don't want to upload anything.

How it works under the hood, since that's the fun part here: SvelteKit front end, a job queue that hands renders to a ComfyUI worker running Qwen-Image-Edit, then an OpenCV worker realigns the render back onto your original photo so the background doesn't drift. GPUs autoscale on demand because I'm not paying to idle them.

Honest limits :
- Paint and wrap only. No wheels, no lowering, no fake body kits. Local models can't do those convincingly yet, so I cut them rather than ship something that looks off.
- It's photoreal most of the time, but hard angles or busy reflections still occasionally melt a headlight or duplicate a badge.
- Free renders daily. Credit packs are one-time, no subscription.

What I'd actually love feedback on:
- The whole point is de-risking a real purchase. Does seeing it on your own car actually change your decision, or would you still want to see it in person?
- What colour or wrap film should I add to the catalogue next?
- Would you see this spinned as a B2B product ? If the renders turn out to be accurate at a large scale, I could sell a White label version to wrap shops

Happy to answer anything about the pipeline or the model choices in the comments.
