Page reads for debut

Hi all.

Would you mind sharing your page read stats the month after your debut? I’m surrounding myself with authors who are hitting 200-600k page reads on their debut in their first month and I’m feeling like a failure. It’s making me want to quit, to be honest.

I did have a huge arc team and managed to get 300 reviews by release day (please don’t be jealous of this, I spent ALOT of money to get this) and the ku page reads are not mirroring that. So the arcs seemed to not pay off anyway, and all of my money spent feels like a waste.

I also can’t get any videos to go viral unlike my friends who are hitting hundreds of thousands of page reads and making it look easy. And I’m not in a financial place where I can spend more. I spent everything I had saved on a beautiful cover, editing, and PR companies to get arc readers. I have interior art, a special edition. The whole works.

And yet despite all of this…. My page reads are womp womp****

Any encouragement would be great!

Or encouragement to quit because I’m so fed up right now haha.
