Place of birth discrepancy on enrolment letter — visa issue?

My passport shows my place of birth as Gokak, Karnataka, but my university enrolment letter shows Pune, Maharashtra.

I currently live in Pune, so I assume it may have been entered incorrectly.

All other details are correct.

Will this discrepancy cause any issue during my German student visa appointment, I have already asked the university to correct it but my visa appointment is on coming Thursday.

Any similar experiences?
