Theory: next update will add asteroid building

So, of what we've seen in the trailer, the new update name is Cosmos.

So, maybe they're ACTUALLY adding space to NMS. The space we've got now is asteroids and travel, with little to no special things. Maybe it's because space is empty, but it also could be because they are preparing for something bigger.

Maybe, you know, they could add spinning planets, or could add more complex ship steering, because outside of vr the ship is way too simple.

Or maybe gravity and orbits, which could be quite cool. Or maybe better physics.

But what I believe will happen is asteroids. We've seen them a lot. We've mined a lot. And they are just for mining. They've been existing pointlessly with gas clouds since like the start of the game. So what I think will happen is that we will be able to make our own space stations, colonize asteroids, and maybe get a new ship type.

But hey, that's just a theory. We don't actually know anything about the update. But it does seem to recycle some cover art.. so it might not even be an update. More like idk spinoffs or smth
