Question about Charity Pay Yourself Back
Hello. A little over two weeks ago I donated to the International Rescue Committee via www.rescue.org with my CSR, expecting to get 50% more points back via Pay Yourself Back (see below). When it posted at 1 cent per point, I called Chase, they seemed confused about it all, then escalated it. I got a paper in the mail late last week that said "We understand you would like to use Pay Yourself Back for the transaction made with www.rescue.org. We see that the offer is to receive 50% more points value for www.rescue.org under Pay Yourself Back option. To redeem for Pay Yourself Back please visit Chase.com or Chase Mobile app."
Went to both of these, still showing 1 cent per point.
Cue another phone call to Chase. They again seem confused. They say "We will escalate this" I say "So I'm going to get another paper like last time?" "Oh you got a paper" and I read it off to them, and they say "Yeah so we escalated it and you'll get another paper from Chase."
In the mean time, I'm just trying to figure out where I went wrong (if I did), and how I can correct it for next time.
