Some times ago I stumbled upon the Omniscence Draft event in Arena. It was sooooooo fun and I though: "Why don't we make it a complete format?". So i gathered up my friends and playtested 4/5 times and I have to say, incredible games were played!

The rules are simple:

\* 60 card singleton format, one of this cards is your commander. Since roughly 40% of you deck are lands usually we.
\* Commanders don't have a color identity restriction, you can play any card.
\* At the start of the each players receives the "Omniscience Emblem" and draws 5 cards.
\* The first player don't draw their first turn.
\* There's obviusly a dedicated banlist.

The questions now are:

\* This format has any chances of becoming an official one?
\* Is the banlist balanced enough?
\* Are there any cards that I forgot to ban that playtesting we didn't found?
\* Are there any rules that should be added to make this experience more enjoyable?

I have to say that this format is one of the best mtg options I ever played, with mind games everywhere. Being able to be wratthed since turn one and having to hold up your resources and counterspells puts a lot of pressure on each of your moves.

I can only hope that someone seeing this post tries this format with his pod. :)
