Looking for a good urologist for chronic testicular pain / possible epididymis or seminal vesicle infection

Hi everyone, I’m looking for recommendations for a good urologist who has experience dealing with chronic testicular pain and possible infections involving the epididymis or seminal vesicles.

I’ve been experiencing persistent pain in my right testicle for over a year now. I initially saw a urologist and had several tests done, including a urine culture, r/E, and ultrasound. Everything came back normal.

I was then advised to get a semen culture, which showed bacteria, specifically MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus**)**, along with agglutination in the semen. However, the doctor seemed to largely ignore the agglutination and prescribed antibiotics based on the culture results.

I completed the prescribed antibiotics, but subsequent semen cultures continued to show essentially the same results. On some occasions, the doctor also prescribed antibiotics that weren't even listed as sensitive/recommended on the culture report.

After spending 35k+ PKR on OPDs, tests, and medications, I still haven't seen any meaningful improvement.

For a change, I recently went to Shifa Hospital for another semen culture because I had heard they have good laboratory facilities. Interestingly, this time the culture came back with no bacteria detected. This was confusing because I had previously done around four semen cultures, usually after completing courses of antibiotics, and the results had continued to show the same bacteria.

At this point, I’m looking to change doctors and find someone who will properly investigate the underlying cause rather than repeatedly prescribing antibiotics without figuring out why the pain is continuing.

The pain has been going on for more than a year and has really affected my day-to-day life. It’s not necessarily severe all the time, but the constant discomfort makes pretty much every hour of the day uncomfortable.

If anyone has had a similar experience or can recommend a good urologist in Islamabad/Rawalpindi (or nearby) who takes these kinds of cases seriously, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.
