Heavy period after SA

I had SA at 12 weeks almost 6 weeks ago, and my period started a week ago. Its very heavy and long compared to my usual. Today, on day 7th i started to pass small blood clots. I experienced quite terrible pain too for about half an hour. Period is on day 7 and is not slowing down so far. Did anybody else experience it?
