Lets talk about Coors Field as a Concert Venue

Rant

I went Noah Kahan Night 1 at Coors field this weekend and found it to be one of the most inhospitable places for a concert when compared to Ball, Empower, Red Rocks, or even Dick's Sporting Goods Arena. Most specifically their rules around tailgating seemed silly. Additionally, the whole no camera "misunderstanding". with the staff. Causing people to literally lose their cameras or have to wait hours on line to reclaim their checked cameras that were well within the published policy.

Most interesting was that they did not bother to remove the net that sits over the 100 section to protect from foul balls. Meaning that people who bought relatively expensive seats in the 100 section were now watching the entire concert through a net.

Overall it seemed like this was half-assed effort by Coors field and Live Nation.
