Tooth pieces from a healed extraction site?

So i had an tooth extraction months ago and the site is completely healed but i have had a couple of tooth pieces push trought the gum, is this something i should bring up with my dentist? The pieces are small and seem like maybe thet stayed in the gum when the tooth was removed
