Close related languages

I’m building Nearlingua for closely related languages. If you speak Afrikaans , why learn Dutch from zero? Beginner courses repeat what you already know, while intermediate ones assume too much. Nearlingua finds what transfers, where Afrikaans trips you up, and teaches only the gaps. What do you think? Would you use this?
