New Car or keep my same one.

Good morning or afternoon/evening everyone I’ve been in the market for a new car as I’m leaving to college soon, however I’m not sure what to do as ofc I am a dumb 18yo that would like a sports car but also has to budget wisely. I currently drive a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt LT that was passed down from my mom, however the car just sucks up money and has problems like misfiring after 4k rpm or the fact that the A/C won’t blow cold anymore. I’ve been test driving cars and wanted to see what other recommendations people would have for me, I drive 30 miles to my college 3x a week and 30 Miles back so range is definitely something I value, same with a great audio system.
