The Succession Arc relies far too heavily on gimmicks involving the dead remaining active.

Benjamin is destined to die but can possess others as a guardian spirit. Camilla can resurrect herself even after death. Tserriednich might appear dead, but it turns out to be nothing more than an illusion. Halkenburg died but can continue the fight using an ability that swaps minds. Kacho died but uses the power of a guardian spirit to help Fugetsu.

While it is rational for people who fear death to develop Nen abilities to avoid it, I hope that true death eventually comes to pass.
