Need TV Buying Help: Opinions on LG QNED92ALA + Does It Have a Successor?

Purchasing Asia/ME

I'm looking for opinions from people who know TVs well, especially LG Mini LED/FALD models and the Indian model lineup.

I'm currently considering the LG 65QNED92ALA and want to know whether it's actually a good TV, what its drawbacks are, and whether there is a newer model that has replaced it.

Is the QNED92ALA worth buying? Any good or bad experiences with it, especially regarding blooming, local dimming, panel uniformity, brightness, HDR, processing, gaming or firmware?

Does the QNED92ALA have a successor/replacement? I'm not assuming it's called QNED93. If LG has replaced it with another model, what is the exact Indian model number? I'd prefer the latest model if it is genuinely better. If there is a successor coming soon, would you recommend waiting for it, or is the QNED92ALA good enough that I should buy it now?

I'm specifically looking for a Mini LED TV with full-array local dimming (FALD), not an edge-lit LED TV. I've ruled out QNED85, QNED82, QNED8X, QNED8G etc. if their Indian variants aren't proper Mini LED/FALD. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

My target budget is around ₹1.25 lakh / ~US$1,400, but I can stretch if there is a meaningful upgrade.

LG's official store quoted me ₹1.28 lakh (~US$1,500) for the 65" QNED92ALA and ₹1.95 lakh (~US$2,250) for the 75". Most online platforms are currently out of stock, and Croma lists the QNED92ALA as discontinued.

I originally wanted Sony, but Sony Mini LED models are getting outside my budget. I've considered the Sony Bravia 5, while Bravia 3/3 Mark 2 concerns me because of its Direct LED implementation in my room.

My hall is around 10 × 12 ft and my viewing distance is approximately 12 ft. The TV will face a roughly 6 ft-wide window with strong direct sunlight, so brightness and reflection handling are very important.

My grandmother will also watch set-top-box channels for around 7-8 hours continuously, usually with only a 30-60 minute break. So I'd also like to know if this type of long daily usage raises any concerns with the QNED92.

At around 12 ft viewing distance, would you recommend staying with 65" or stretching to 75"? The ₹1.95 lakh / ~US$2,250 figure is the actual price I found for the 75", not my target budget.

I'd really appreciate honest opinions, good or bad, and especially from anyone familiar with the 2026 Indian LG lineup who can clarify whether the QNED92ALA has a successor or if there is a better current model to buy.

Please mention exact Indian model numbers when recommending alternatives, since LG's model names differ between regions.
