Green gas canister valve suddenly started leaking after filling my mag

Everything seemed normal at first but while filling the hissing gradually became quieter, I pulled the canister away from the magazine and immediately the gas started escaping from the canister's own filling nozzle/valve, I flipped the canister so the nozzle was up and it stopped. Does this mean the dispensing valve got stuck or something? Should I try to fill up a mag later with this canister?
