Rabies anxiety help

Health

I don't know what to think or feel, i need help of some sort please. Last week I had an encounter with a dog. It came quite close, as soon as I sensed something coming behind me i pulled away. At that moment I didn't feel any pain, nothing. I checked my leg there was no bite mark or scratches. I was wearing jeans which are intact by all means. A few hours after this I made my partner check the area and he also couldn't find any bites or scratches. Since then, i have shown the area to my partner, my parents, my best friend and another friend at college.

All of them are saying they cannot find anything. I went to my neurologist for migraines and he also said there are no bite marks (he checked very briefly)

I have THOROUGHLY checked my jeans, i cannot find a puncture or scratches. I AM TERRIFIED OF RABIES. I feel I'm going to die. The fear is crippling. Today my mother was very sad and said it's nothing and I'm just going to make myself sick thinking about it. I feel like a burden to them. It's not in my control, even if that leg just feels tired i think it's rabies. Today it has been 8 days of this. My parents don't want me to get the vaccine because "there hasn't been any exposure" but my mind is constantly thinking what if there was an exposure but we couldn't see it.

I'm terrified of dogs in general, I think more than any common animal I fear dogs the most. Their presence already makes me uncomfortable and this encounter has left me in a state of panic. I cannot even trust my own memory at this point. I DON'T WANT TO DIE PLSS. I have posted in r/rabies and r/askdocs and have gotten the same reply that it's nothing. How do I convince myself that it's nothing? Please someone please help me. I cannot afford to go to a therapist.
