BD Associate Role

Guys, im a recent BBA Marketing & Data Analytics graduate. Have had good (multiple internship) experiences however in different domains. Want to break into data science/tech background. Considered upskilling at home + certifications.
However, landed this 80K/month BD Associate role. However its quite far (40km) and company isn’t willing to give fuel allowance. Thats not the issue however. Technically, my take home salary/savings will be 50-55K (but no financial responsibilities yet).

Im considering doing this for a few months (5-6) then building my skills and portfolio alongside until i find a better relevant role (data analytics)?
Because just sitting at home and collecting certificates as well isn’t helpful (given so many interviews, rejected)
