First anal experience awkward, any advice?

Hello everyone. During my first sexual experience, we tried anal sex spontaneously, and there was some stool present, which made the situation awkward.

I’ve read that many people prepare beforehand, but what should couples do if they decide to try anal in the moment rather than planning days in advance?

Is there any practical way to reduce the chances of stool contact and make spontaneous anal sex cleaner and more comfortable?
