Adopting 6 week old kitten

Hi! So my coworkers cat had a litter of kittens, and I said I’d take one. She needs them to be taken in about 2 weeks, which would make the kittens a little over 6 weeks old when I would take one, which I’ve heard is young. I know I need to schedule them appointments for labs/ vaccines all of that and to get them fixed, but is there anything else I should know about taking a cat this young? For background I have had a very friendly female adult cat for almost 4 years now, she was adopted as a young adult cat after she had her own litter. The kitten I am taking from my coworkers litter is also female.
