A new hero is coming to Marvel comics, and the powerhouse publishing company has made it clear: They do *not* want to put any time into this. So they're leaving it to the good people of r/marvelcirclejerk !

It's up to us to design a living, breathing world for this hero to occupy but the limitation is we can only pull from existing 616 characters. Each day Redditors will post who they think should occupy the listed spot (*Day 2 is Mentor, Day 3 is Nemesis, etc*) with the winner determined by whoever has the most upvotes.

The last round determined the villain that she has the best chemistry with; the one that makes you quietly wonder "will they/won't they?" And for our hero that person is: Doctor Bong! A villain with a checkered publication history that starts with...Howard the Duck?!

And now there's only one more figure to work out from 616: Who is our hero's rival? Whether it's friendly or hostile, what character are they always competing with to *some* degree?

...And why am I getting a call from Kevin Feige?!
