Current Media Tech Enabling Loneliness

Just thinking about how videogames, streaming, and the many flavors of internet bullshit make isolating much easier and even appealing to the average person. Compared to before where such types were scholars, obsessive artists, or cripplingly phobic. I consider myself introverted but if you took away the modern fancies enabling me I would probably make some friends and play cards with them or something. Also I bet conversation was more of an art in the past. Like people seeing it as a crucial part of passing the time and having fun and just being more invested and enthusiastic about talking to others and what to say. Think its a pretty obvious thought overall but its nice to just share it
