Appendectomy in Sri Lanka

Hello everyone,

So I (f) have been diagnosed with appendicitis and currently in need of a laparoscopic surgery. This is my first surgical experience and I’m honestly worried on what to expect. If someone has been through the same recently, I’d like to know the hospital you’ve been admitted to and the charges and how the experience has been. I prefer a private hospital as it is comfortable for me to stay with my parents. Also kind nurses because I’m scared of needles.
Most importantly I would like to know what was the procedure like in Sri Lanka as a patient. I’m worried and scared about the catheters and all, because I want my privacy to be maintained. Also if it’s a painful procedure (I’m more worried of the catheters than the surgery lol)
