Is my french edition of The Blood Red Game the novella or the novel ?

Hello, I recently bought this elusive french edition of The Blood Red Game, while looking for information I saw that The Blood Red Game both refer to the sequel to The Sundered Worlds, and to the second revision of the compilation of both novellas into a novel.

Do you know which is it in my case ? The book starts with a prologue that reads something like this:

"For two years, Renark was a traveller of the galaxy - but he wasn't alone. Renark couldn't feel alone because the galaxy was an ever present friend etc."
