Metronidazole

Just wondering if anyone has taken the antibiotic metronidazole and has it impacted Crohn’s disease? I’m about to start my second course in 4 weeks for a recurring wisdom tooth infection and in that time my calprotectin has also dropped by 100, I was just wondering if it could be connected.
