Is it being martyr to wish your ex well?

My ex and I broke up and after 1 or 2 weeks he found a new girl. So men, really move on that fast? without hatred, as an ex, when I knew about it after 3 weeks since break up, i wished him well for his new found connection. Is it being martyr? Or fool? Not planning or thinking to be back with him.

Just curious, why do ( some men) move on that fast after 3 years of relationship?
