Advice needed before starting

Looking to get into this game with my friend. I wanted to be a shinigami but apparently it's terrible so I decided on arrancar instead.

What are the best traits, ressureccion, and skill tree branches? I hear people saying to max speed or whatever, but is there a meta build that actually uses hollow abilities? I wanted Starrk's ressureccion, but apparently that's a 1% chance, so what are the best ones that aren't insanely rare?

Should I just pick a different race instead? I know Quincies are meta, but I don't wanna use them unless they're really that much stronger
